Michael Frick is the president of Hypermedia Systems, Inc, the premier developer of rich media and e-commerce systems utilizing cutting-edge technology and advanced development techniques. Frick was the first business manager and executive officer to join Hypermedia Systems, Inc. Since then, Frick's passion and leadership have become hallmarks of his tenure at the company.
During the past 15 years, Frick has headed several divisions in other companies, including operations, engineering, application development, and sales and support. In December 2003, he was promoted to president, a role that gave him day-to-day responsibility for running Hypermedia Systems, Inc.
Frick is known inside and outside the company for his devotion to building closer relationships with HMS's customers and partners - and for ensuring their needs are heard, understood and served by every HMS employee. The foundation for this relationship - and the success of the company - is that we be more attentive to customer requests by delivering quality solutions and aligning with the business objectives of its clients, in other words, to focus on IT service management (ITSM).
Together with the company's other technical leaders, Frick will lead HMS's development of a revolutionary new video conferencing interface for servers, desktop personal computers, and wireless non-PC devices. HMS's goal is to provide the platform to enable a seamless experience across different computing devices, software services and data sources, putting a unified face on a wide variety of digital interactions.
Although Hypermedia will provide some important customer services, the company's success will depend on new and current partners creating innovative customer solutions with its expertise. Frick understands that HMS must be part of a community of partners, each providing a special focus and added value.
Frick, born in October 1971, grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he entered the United States Marine Corps as a Signals Intelligence Cryptologic Technician. While in the military, Frick acquired his lust for technology, designing and managing data systems for the Department of Defense and Department of Justice. After the Marines Corps, he worked for four years at PSC, Inc., Cinahl Information Systems, and on various federal government contracts before joining Hypermedia Systems, Inc. Frick enjoys studying military history and is an avid gamer. He is fluent in Spanish and is learning Japanese.
