Computer Systems Analyst
Job Duties
Receive instruction and guidance on data input/output requirements and preferred settings, current operating procedures, computer system complaints/problems, and desired format for reports. Report findings including describing user needs, program functions, computer system capabilities, workflow, and factors affecting system and programming upgrades necessary to reach goals set forth by supervisor/s and other personnel. Modify reports as instructed. Study existing information processing systems and seek ways to enhance effectiveness, improve production or workflow as required. Prepare workflow charts and diagrams. Conduct studies on developing new information systems to meet given parameters. Document program development. Prepare time and cost estimates for completing projects. Perform approved upgrades and maintain system functionality after implementation of upgrades. Assist in testing, installing and modifying programs.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems or a closely related degree. Two years of experience.
